Hotel
Castle Hotel *** is one of the oldest hotels of Dublin, it was designed and built by John Ensor. The hotel opened its doors in 1809 as Norfolk Hotel and was renamed in the 1900’s to Leix Hotel and finally to Castle Hotel in 1956. Today it operates as a member of the Castle Hotel Group. The building has been modernized but it still represents the elegant Georgian style interior, antique mirrors, crystal chandeliers and marble fireplaces. The latest renovation works took place in 2007. The three-storey hotel offers 24-hour reception, elevator, wireless Internet connection, parking (upon charge), lounge, drinkbar and a breakfast room. Pets are not allowed.
